Gymnastics Leotard Skating
Can you figure skating in a Rhythmic Gymnastics Leotard?? (read description)?
I'm a figure skater, and a gymnast (artistic but considering getting into rhythmic) .. i was watching the rhythmic gymnastics last night on the commonwealth games and the leotards were SO PRETTY!!! can you figure skate in them?? (like compete) .. or are they too short?? figure skating dresses are fairly short so are they the same length or shorter?? i want to buy them off the internet so i cant get it made longer if it was needed..

In my opinion, it's stupid to not wear something just because it's meant for another sport. There's no difference between my dance gymnastics dress and my skating dress. I could use the gymnastics one for skating and vice versa and nobody would notice.
The only problem with gymnastic outfits is that most of the time it seems that they have no skirts, and that's a problem in skating. In skating you must have a skirt, unless you want to cause a big controversy.

Those would be wonderful for skating. They do have the bits of illusion mesh, exactly like skating dresses. And they have skirts that cover the butt and also many of them have long sleeves which is good for somebody who gets too cold during competitions.
Most freestyle skaters have skirts that range from just covering the butt to just above midthigh, so skirt length isn't a problem. If you ice dance, you need a knee length skirt.
So if you see a good rhythmic dress somewhere on the internet, don't hesitate to snap it up.
